Bank of Waukegan and First State Bank of Round Lake merged to become
NorStates Bank on November 10, 2005.

Our new name tells you that we have expanded beyond those individual communities to ensure that our financial and investment services are available to more people in more neighborhoods throughout northeastern Illinois and southeastern Wisconsin.

Our banking neighborhood is not just defined by the area we serve, but by the people who trust us to meet their financial services needs. So while our name has changed and neighborhood has grown, we will still be known for our personalized friendly service.
