Corrects Record Date for Cash Dividend - 03/17/2005
OAKLAND, Md., March 17, 2005 -- First United Corporation (Nasdaq: FUNC) announced on March 16, 2005 that its Board of Directors declared a cash dividend of $0.185 per share payable on May 1, 2005. Yesterday's release incorrectly reported the record date for this cash dividend as February 28, 2005. The correct record date is April 15, 2005, and shareholders of record as of that date will be entitled to receive the cash dividend on May 1, 2005.
